This Privacy Statement applies to all services offered by Sportstages and describes which personal data we process and how it is used.
Which personal data do we process?
In the context of the recruitment of trainers / coaches to guide our activities, we process personal data of you as a potential trainer / coach. This concerns information that is necessary for the proper selection and recruitment.
1. Personal data that you provide to us:
During the procedure for the selection and recruitment of trainers / coaches, we ask you to fill in an online form. We request the following information about you: name, first name, e-mail address, telephone and / or mobile phone number, competencies in sports (diplomas / certificates), relevant experience, personal travel preferences and availability. We need this information to match you with the right assignments.
Due to the nature of the service, we will publish limited information such as name and first name and relevant experience of you as a trainer / coach on our website in order to strengthen the quality of the sports internship (s) offered online as well as provide information to potential customers who specifically ask about this. No contact details of trainers / coaches are passed on to potential customers, clients or third parties.
If you do not want us to obtain this information from you, or if you ask us to delete information, we may not be able to provide the services that have been agreed upon, in whole or in part. You can therefore not hold us account for any compensation if we are unable to provide the services for this reason.
2. Personal data we collect:
Depending on how you use our services, we collect the following data:
We collect details about the services we have provided to you, including previously supervised sports placements and matters related to them, such as any complaints.
We do not use "Google Analytics" with this form.
We do not collect information about your computer, tablet or mobile phone, including, if applicable, Your IP address, operating system and browser type. No statistics about the behavior of the form are kept.
3. Personal data that we collect and provide to third parties:
When you provide personal information to us, certain of this information will necessarily have to be passed on to third parties such as airlines, hoteliers and insurance companies in order for them to provide the necessary services. Some of these third parties may be located outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Organizations that are located outside the EEA may not be subject to the same strict regulations regarding data protection as is the case in Belgium or the EEA.
4. We do not keep them longer than necessary.
Sportstages respects the legal retention periods and will delete the stored personal data at the latest in the month following the expiry of the legal retention period. The database of trainers / coaches will be checked annually. Trainers / coaches who have not done any assignments for Sportstages in the past two years will be contacted by us and will be permanently removed from the database if they are no longer interested.
5. How do we obtain this personal data?
We obtain the personal data that we process from you directly or via our online form.
6. Security of personal data
We guarantee the integrity, security and confidentiality of the personal data. This means that we take measures against data leaks. We store important / sensitive personal data on computer systems with limited access that reside on secure third party servers and are housed in secure buildings.
7. According to the GDPR, the following rights apply:
7.1 Right of inspection / access
Every user and visitor of whom Sportstages collects data has the right to request access to and view his information. He may also view how his data is processed.
7.2 Right to rectification
The user always has the right to have certain personal data corrected, supplemented or deleted after inspection.
7.3 Right to be forgotten
The user has the right to be completely deleted from all systems and databases.
7.4 Right to file a complaint
The user always has the right to file a complaint with the Privacy Commission if he or she finds that the personal data is being collected and processed in an unlawful manner.
7.5 Right to withdraw consent
Any user or visitor whose personal data is collected has the right to object to the processing of that data.
7.6 Right to restriction of processing
The data subject has the right to (temporarily) limit the processing of his personal data.
7.7 Right to portability
The data subject has the right to transfer his personal data to another controller.
7.8 Right to oppose decisions based on automated processing
The user has the right to have automatic profiling disabled.
8. Changes to the Privacy statement
We will update this Privacy Statement from time to time for changes, additions or changes. When we post changes to the Privacy Statement, we will change the date of the "last update" at the top of the document. In the event of significant changes to the Privacy Statement or in the way we use your personal data, we will notify you by posting a notice of the changes before they become effective.
Belgian law applies to this Privacy Statement. Disputes regarding the Privacy statement fall only under the jurisdiction of the courts of Hasselt.
