Under professional guidance, participants have the chance to ski more efficiently and at a greater speed.

Additionally, there is also time to enjoy the exceptional nature and winter landscapes of Arctic Norway.

During this course, we take you to the most breathtaking locations where you can also go snowshoe hiking and ice fishing.

This trip ends with an exciting ski race. Join in and have the time of your life!

Example travel itinerary:

  • Day 1: Arrival
    • Transfer from airport to hotel.
    • Exploring the surroundings.
    • Evening walk to Gangsåstoppen with views of the city.
    • Lunch during the activity.
    • First introduction to ski techniques in Kilbotn, 20 min. drive.
    • Fitting of ski equipment in the hotel.
  • Day 2: Learn efficient skiing and go on an adventurous snowshoe hike
    • Improving ski techniques and energy-efficient skiing in Kilbotn.
    • Individual feedback.
    • Snowshoe hike to Keipen or Litjehornet at Aunfjellet.
    • Hopefully northern lights visible in clear weather.
    • Warm drinks at the top.
  • Day 3: Deepen your skiing techniques and try mountain skis
    • Classic ski techniques and double poling in Kilbotn.
    • Ski trip from Kilbotn to Sørvika and back.
    • Switch to mountain skis and hike off the trails.
  • Day 4: Enjoy your first "real" ski tour and end the day with a sauna visit
    • Practicing classic ski techniques in Kvæfjordeidet.
    • Adapted route to the level of the group.
    • Lunch stop during the 5-6 hour journey.
    • Beautiful view in clear weather at the top.
    • Sauna in Harstad Havnebadstue in the evening.
    • Dare to swim in the Northern Ice Sea.
  • Day 5: Go mountain skiing and experience life in a Norwegian mountain hut.
    • Go on a mountain ski adventure at Sollifjellet Alpine Center and surrounding area. Enjoy the spectacular view over the mountains around Harstad during this mountain ski tour, with included lunch on the way. Make sure to bring extra warm clothes and a jacket for this unforgettable experience.
    • Next, you will get to know the Norwegian cabin life by staying overnight in a typical Norwegian hut amidst nature. Enjoy a cozy dinner and spend the night in the cabin (optional). This gives you the chance to experience what many Norwegians do during their vacations and on weekends. But there is also the possibility to stay in the hotel
  • Day 6: Enjoy a ski tour to a fishing location and try ice fishing
    • Ski to a fishing location and try your hand at ice fishing, a popular winter tradition in Norway. If the weather allows, we spend a few hours catching the "Røya" and enjoy a nice lunch with hot chocolate. As an alternative, for those who prefer skiing, we discuss a mountain ski tour where we go to the top and ski at high speed.
    • In the evening we eat the hopefully caught fish, prepared by local chefs.
  • Day 7: Take part in an exciting ski race
    • Race day! Time for the participants to use the tips and tricks they have learned over the past few days and compete in a 15-20 km race in Kilbotn. This is an excellent opportunity to let the participants feel what it's like to be born with skis on your feet. Maybe it becomes a recurring tradition and you challenge during the Reistadløpet on April 1st (30-50 km).
