Lanzarote International Running Challenge

A classic that has grown in popularity over the past 20 years and is on the way to becoming a real favorite. The Interantional Running Challenge consists of four races in four days, over varying distances and terrains. The event attracts runners from all over Europe, for competition but also to enjoy a fun, social atmosphere. Course Description Kids Challenge - for ages 4-15 (Free entrance - online registration is required) Children 4-7 years, 400 m. (1 lap on the running track) Children 8-11 years, 800 m. (2 laps on the running track) Children 12-15 years, 1200 m. (3 laps on the running track) Race 1 - 10Km Vince Regan Memorial Classic Road Run Start and Finish at the Stadium, Club La Santa. 3 laps around the La Santa lagoon (most of the surface is asphalt). Race 2 - 13Km Ridge Run You walk on unpaved paths and asphalt roads around one of the large volcanoes close to Club La Santa. Race 3 - 5Km Beach Race Buses will take you to the beach in Puerto del Carmen, where you will run in loose sand. Race 4 - 21Km La vuelta de Tinajo The runners will start in Tinajo, run around part of the volcanic "Montaña de Tinache" and back to Club La Santa over tarmac and dirt roads, and walk another 300m on the athletics track in the staidon to the finish. Reserve your place now! Please note that you can register for the match with us, but pick up your match package at Club La Santa on Saturday 23 November between 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM. There you are obliged to pay a € 20 deposit for the race tracker (you will receive the deposit back after the last race for which you registered). The Entré prices of 2019: • From December 07, 2018 to November 15, 2019 € 25 for each individual match, € 50 for two matches, € 60 for 3 matches and € 75 for all 4 matches including an event t-shirt. • From November 16, 2019 to November 20, 2019 until 13:00 CET: € 30 for each individual match, € 60 for two matches, € 75 for 3 matches and € 90 for all 4 matches including an event t-shirt. The deadline for registration is 20 November 13:00 CET. No registration on location, Club La Santa (On-site registration is only possible for matches 2,3 and 4. Registration for matches 2, 3 and 4 is possible on Sunday 24, Monday 25 and Tuesday 26 November from 16:00 to 18:00 in the Information Center). Insurance on match day It is the responsibility of participants to insure themselves with their own insurer or running association / club. It is possible to take out day insurance upon registration. The price for a day insurance: € 5 for 1 match; € 10 for 2, 3, 4 matches. Places are limited so early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment. Book your trip and stay at Sportstages today. The Organization reserves the right to change the content of the program at any time. Club Competition Harloop associations / clubs are welcome to participate in this event as a team. All participants of teams are still eligible for individual prizes. To participate, you must form a team of 4 runners from the same association / club, either 4 men or 4 women. The team score is calculated with the top 3 scores of each team in each match. Participants may only be part of 1 team. The Team Captain is responsible for registering each individual team member, and confirming the team name and the names of the team members to camp@sportstages.com Categories U / 20, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75- 79. The age group is determined by the age of the competitor on the day of match 1. Time measurement The MyLaps ChampionChip is the official time measurement system for all participants. The organization reserves the right to use gun-time for all participants. Medical care Full medical care will be available throughout the event. These apartments have been recently renovated and have two single beds in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. This type of apartment is therefore suitable for a maximum of three adults and one child (under 15).
The functionally furnished wardrobe offers enough space for your luggage and sports equipment.
The open plan living / dining room opens onto a private terrace with a table, chairs and a clothesline.
The bathroom is fitted with a shower and the kitchen is equipped with a hob, fridge, freezer, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, microwave and the usual kitchenware. All apartments have free Wi-Fi, a hairdryer and a safe. Towels are changed daily and we offer a cleaning service five days a week.
Six of these ground floor apartments are suitable for guests with reduced mobility.

Suite apartment with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a breathtaking view of the Atlantic Ocean from the balcony. This bright and modern suite apartment with a total area of 89 m² can accommodate up to 6 adults.
The 2 bedrooms have two single beds, a spacious and modern fitted wardrobe and a work area with a work surface, an iron and ironing board, a vacuum cleaner and a drying rack.
The modern kitchen with a high breakfast table is equipped with a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a toaster, a cafetiere and a microwave oven. The living room is practically furnished with a spacious sitting area during the day and two comfortable beds at night. The large bathroom is equipped with a shower, toilet, sink and hairdryer. The second bathroom has a shower and a toilet. A second sink is located in the hallway for your convenience. All suites have air conditioning, TV, free wifi and a safe. Towels are changed daily and we offer a cleaning service five days a week. All suites are located in the newest part of Club La Santa.
